HOME

This song is a remake from the "on Down the Road" album and is clearly about what happens after death. Regardless of whatever religion or spirituality you believe in, everyone has the same vision of "home", a place where the eternal soul goes after it leaves this earthly body. The song portrays this character that is having a rough time with life and what direction to go with it. The key line of the song is " as long as you know which road you go... all you gotta do it make it home"... implying that even if life is rough, in the end we all go "home". The ending of this song, is the character finding his God or saviour to believe in, wanting to get "home" to where he can be free.

LYRICS:
Sunshine, Shines through my blinds, as I try to find
A reason to get up today, last night I drank my life away
Someday, I might find a way, to put the past away
Turn my world upside down, just get my feet on solid ground
Sometimes, I just try to find, a little peace of mind
Take a break from life, recline and forget that I'm alive
And in some ways, it's like a sunray, on a Sunday,
Trying to warm your heart again, just mending the broken ones my friend

Its allright if you don't know where you go
And it's allright if you take it slow
The story will go the way it goes
As long as you know which road you go
And all you gotta do is make it home

Sometimes, I just try to find, a little peace of mind
Take a break from life, recline and forget that I'm alive
And in some ways, it's like a sunray, on a Sunday,
Trying to warm your heart again, just mending the broken ones my friend

The place I wanna be, is the place that sets me free
I don't want to be alone, so in you I'll find a home

I wanna get home, I wanna get home
